About Us

Our story

Mounts Creek Farm is Jim and Barb Abend. Both Jim and I were raised on farms in upstate New York. Jim comes from a dairy background and Barb comes from a poultry background. When we moved to the Adirondack area we knew we wanted to farm so we could give our son the similar experience of growing up on a farm. We found a property that had some open land already.

We built the barn and fenced-in land for pasture. We will continue to work on improving the land while not destroying the trees, the creek, and the wetlands we have on this land. We take pride in offering great-tasting food at a reasonable price.
